About Kings Road Historic District

Kings Road

Following a sand ridge, Kings Road was established as a trade route after a cattle drive to the Turnbull Colony in New Smyrna. Started in 1767, It came through our area in 1768. We have an original piece and the site of a bridge crossing from this major roadway.
