Hewlitts Mill/Fort Fulton

Originally a smaller plantation named Hewlitts Mill, during the Second Seminole War, the US Army used it as an outpost housing the 2nd Dragoons, a mounted unit to respond to any defense or support needed along Kings Road for the lower St. Johns area.
