Dixie Highway/Brick Road
Beginning in Michigan in 1914, Dixie Highway was a project to connect the northern states to the southern tip of Florida. Through our area, we have 9 miles of this brick covered road. From the beginning of the tourist industry to a major agriculture transportation route, this road has a story to tell.
